Omar Ortiz is a Mexican figurative artist who works in hyperrealism genre. His paintings are based on the principles of photorealism; however Omar does not copy the reality one to one. The subject matter of the pictures is painted with great details and it creates a so called illusion of the reality.
Omar paints with oil as well as with coal, watercolors, acrylic, pastel, etc. The main subjects of his pictures are one or two nude women surrounded by a very minimalistic “white” environment.
